A kitchen is no longer a workspace you hide behind a door. It's where the day begins and ends, where your guests gather, and where you pour that last glass of wine in the evening.

Approach
Behind every project stands a fixed team of cabinet makers and suppliers I've been working with for years. Direct lines, the same standards, and everyone knows what I expect before it arrives at your home.
No off-the-shelf modules or finishes that won't last. Just timber that's been vetted before it reaches my workshop, natural stone I select personally at the wholesaler, and a schedule you don't have to chase.
Approach
The design comes first. Together we create a kitchen that truly fits you, on paper and in 3D. The execution can then be fully handled by me, but only if you wish.
We start with a conversation at your home. No sales pitch, no brand pressure. I listen, look around, and ask about how you live and cook.
I work out your kitchen in 3D, with materials, layout and brand-independent advice. This is my focus: a design that works, regardless of suppliers or commissions.
Would you like me to guide you through the execution? I advise on the choice of suppliers, demolition, plumbing and installation, and remain present during the works. Only if you choose so.
We walk through the kitchen together. You receive instructions on the appliances and all warranty papers neatly organised. Ready to cook.
About
I'm Felix. Over 20 years as a kitchen designer, with hundreds of kitchens to my name. Independent, not tied to any single brand or supplier.
My career started at 19 at Mandemakers Keukens, one of the largest kitchen retailers in the Netherlands. That's where I learned the foundation of what truly makes a great kitchen, and how it works on the sales side: targets, margins, commissions. Today I work completely independently across the greater Hague region. No sales pitch, no pressure to choose a specific brand. My only interest is a design that fits you and your home.
My favourite kitchen is the Indonesian one. Partly because of my roots, but also because of the way they cook there: open, social, and with full attention to what ends up on the table. That warmth is what I try to bring back into every design.

Working on an interior project? From the sketch phase onwards I think along about the kitchen, so it sits within the larger composition. Materials, layout, hardware: everything aligned.
